driving one morning to a carpet cleaning job, when I had my carpet and upholstery cleaning business. While at a complete stop, my Mazda pickup was rear ended by a senior citizen's bus. I was not hurt, because the rear bumper was never installed on my truck. I felt the bumper would make it look ugly. Because there was no bumper, the back of my truck collapsed and absorbed the impact of the collision. The police took information about the accident. My truck was drivable, but I would be out of work, until it was repaired. As I drove away, I asked myself. "What would I have done, if I hurt my back in this accident? I have to get into another type of business."

The birth of
While driving in my banged up pickup, I saw men cutting a lawn. The words Lawn care popped in my head. I said to myself “I have to come up with a name? What words are common with lawn care? It is a beautiful sunny morning. Lawns are green." At that point I put two words together, SUN and GREEN and came up with SUNGREEN. I felt a new door was opened for me. One could say the bus knocked some sense into me or gave me a little push to make my life better.
A few days later I was at Olga's Diner 100 W Rte 70, in Marlton, NJ, sitting at the counter, with paper and pencil designing the SUNGREEN logo. Sad to say Olga's diner closed around 2008. I studied textiles and different ways of cleaning fabrics for years. My company cleaned fabrics that other companies said could not be cleaned. The carpet and Upholstery cleaning business would soon became a part of my past.
